MISCHIEVOUS fairies, confused lovers and ass’s ears all come together this summer in the latest musical creation from Fusion Youth Theatre. Adaptation written by Fusion Youth Theatre.
Following the success of last year’s debut performance, 'London Road', the innovative Performing Arts company has come up with an alternative performance of 'A Midsummer Night’s Dream'.
The well-worn but much-loved Shakespeare classic has been dusted off and given a new edge with an adapted script and eclectic soundtrack.
The story retains Shakespeare’s wit but brings Oberon, Titania and friends into the present day as they share the stage with a TV camera team, a street dance crew and other quirky characters.
The company of 50 five- to 18 year-olds will perform energetic song and dance routines which include signature tunes from Bjork, David Bowie and Adele.
