

Our dance lessons give students the perfect opportunity to get fit, have fun and work off some of that energy! We teach a variety of dance styles and routines from pop and street dance to musical theatre. Our dance lessons cater to all ability levels and embraces each student's movement style. Our dance lessons teach technique from ballet, jazz and modern to commercial styles of hip hop and street.
Students will receive professional tuition in warming up and stretching the body, body conditioning, dance technique, learning and creating choreography and developing into more advance techniques such as partner work, dance improvisation, executing lifts, acro work and physical theatre. Not only is dancing a great mood enhancer, it also improves body tone, fitness and stamina levels. It’s not long before students see an improvement in their technique and co-ordination.
Each lesson involves a warm up and basic stretching and body conditioning. After which the students will take either a technique lesson, learning choreography or creating their own choreography. The end of each lesson is concluded with a cool down and reflection on what they have learnt in the lesson.
Being a theatre group, we find it very important that students learn how to move, carry themselves on a stage and learning dance helps towards this. Through the descovery of movement, students are able to take on deeper characterisation with acting and the ability to deliver a routine whilst perfoming a musical number. Our dance classes are fun and up beat to ensure every student gets something out of each lesson, no matter what the ability or age.
